We can offer machined aluminium billets from a diameter of 140 mm.
We can currently offer machined aluminium billets up to a diameter of 660 mm. From 2023 we will also offer machined diameters up to 950 mm and from July 2023 diameters up to 1,100 mm.
We can offer casting bars up to a length of 6,800 mm. For turned material, we produce all lengths between 500 and 1,500 mm. From 2023 we can also offer turned material with a length of up to 2,000 mm. From July 2023, it will be possible to offer lengths of up to 3,000 mm for diameters over 500 mm.
We currently offer the alloy EN-AW 6082 with a T6 heat treatment. Other alloys such as 7075 are also available on request.
No. We cannot carry out T6 heat treatment for the alloy EN-AW 5083.
We use up to 90% scrap depending on the alloy.
We produce almost all wrought aluminium alloys on request. In addition to standard alloys such as EN-AW 2618A, EN-AW 5083, EN-AW 6082 or EN-AW 7075, this also includes special alloys from the alloy groups 2xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx or 7xxx.
The minimum quantity depends on the requested alloy and varies from 1 billet to a complete furnace.
Through constant work on our processes and our supply chain, we are able to offer delivery times of 4 weeks. However, shorter delivery times are possible in exceptional cases.
Emirates Global Aluminium, the world’s largest ‘premium aluminium’ producer, acquired 100% of Leichtmetall Aluminium Giesserei Hannover from Leichtmetall Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of an investment fund managed by Quantum Capital Partners GmbH in May 2024.
