Since the invention of the continuous casting process at our Hannover site in the 1920s, we have been committed to producing aluminium billets of exceptional quality.

Raw materials analysis
All incoming raw materials are thoroughly analysed to verify their quality and purity, ensuring that they meet the highest standards required for production.
Up to 9 times sampling of each batch to determine the metals’ chemical composition
Each batch is sampled at nine different points to precisely determine its chemical composition, guaranteeing consistency and reliability throughout the entire production process.
Hydrogen measurement
The hydrogen content is carefully measured to prevent porosity and maintain the highest level of metal integrity.
Metallographic analysis
Detailed metallographic analysis is conducted to assess the microstructure of the alloy, confirming that it fulfils all specified mechanical and physical requirements.
